Spring Creek Guide Service

South Dakota Sunset

"South Dakota's premier hunting location."

"A sportsman's paradise!"

Spring Creek Guide Service offers thousands of private acres of exceptional bird habitat for some of the best wild pheasant hunting in the northern plains regions. Located in Campbell County in north central South Dakota, we're minutes away from Lake Oahe. Our vast operation allows you to enjoy the expanses undisturbed and uncrowded.

Founded in 1992, Spring Creek Guide Service is a full service facility which boasts numerous satisfied clients. Meals, transportation, airport pickup, guides with dogs, processing and storage of birds-all combined with scenic landscapes, makes for a most memorable "hunt." Habitats range from Missouri River breaks and bluffs to row crops and small grain fields, creek and slough bottoms to brushy fence lines and CRP expanses.

Lodging facilities include a five bedroom farmhouse at Spring Creek Guide Service headquarters along with a four bedroom house minutes away. Facilities are equipped with all modern appliances along with a Digital satellite system. You are invited to bring your own dogs or hunt behind our German Shorthaired Pointers. Visitor kennel facilities are provided.

Few places in the nation offer the variety of game available on our hunts. Wild Ringneck Pheasant, our main quarry, are hunted along with Sharptailed Grouse and Hungarian Partridge. Waterfowl or big game may be included in your hunt. Early inquiry is essential to insure the proper licensing.
